Hi friends! My name is Danica! First of all, I am a daughter of the King of kings, the Lord Jesus Christ. Second, I am a wife to Juan Cortez, and a stay at home mom of two beautiful boys, Josiah (3 years old) and Zion (2 years old). Juan & I got married in 2019 in Washington State, where my hometown is located. In 2020, we moved to Austin, TX, my husband's hometown.

Before becoming a mom, I worked in dentistry for about 15 years as a dental assistant in a private practice and in pediatrics. I wrapped up my career in dentistry after becoming a dental lab technician where I specialized in making implant supported dentures. When I moved to Texas, I quit my job to do the things I'm most passionate about, being a mom and baking! I've always had a love for baking, mostly because I have quite the sweet tooth myself! I created this business in hope that I'm able to share my passion of baking to others!

In my personal time, I enjoy gardening and growing flowers (which `is quite difficult in this Texas heat!). I am also part of a moms workout community where we exercise while taking care of our children. Afterwards we do fun crafts and occasionally go on playdates. Both my boys and I love the water so you can find us at the pool or splash pad. As a family we love going on camping trips with our RV and love watching and playing sports!
